The Forces of Despair just wouldn't quite. No matter how many times they failed, no matter how irrelevant they became, no matter how much the world left them behind as it recovered, there were still those who carried out Junko's will. So be it. It gave everyone else in the world a vent for their more primal... urges.

Take Akane Owari. She had been hungry for quite some time now (a whole five minutes!) and second lunch wasn't due for another hour or so. So she was jumping from building to building, searching for eats to tide her over until then. Unfortunately, she ended up in territory still in the possession of the Despairs.

Unfortunate for the Despairs, that is. They had gotten the idea in their heads to make good use of the many, MANY bodies lying around by opening up a fast food chain. Premium vore snacks, perfect for temporarily savoring before spitting back out!
