When Sir Anon had first set out to confront the princess-devouring-dragon menace wrecking havoc in the kingdom, this is not the outcome he had expected.
What began as a trek to her volcanic lair ended in a wedding ceremony and delightful reception. The honeymoon had been even better, even if the missus had toppled a few fortresses and burned the odd field along the way (despite their agreement not to get distracted with 'work stuff').
Now happily married, the couple had much to look forward to, and the kingdom's populous much to dread. For though Sir Anon was chivalrous and brave, he was also married to a fire-breathing hell beast. When she had a craving for royal virgins, what could he do?
After all, he was a husband first and a knight second... and probably an idiot third.
