Susan was beating the walls of the stomach that was squeezing her. She was a predator in a common prey meant to be digested and forgotten about.
“Let me out you bitch! I’m nobody’s meal.” An echoing belch and an uncaring laugh rings in her ears.
“Oh Susan. You couldn’t be more wrong. See you may think that you are some mighty predator, that you are the top of the food chain… and look where it landed you? The same fate as your meal. Now relax and enjoy your last moments… or don’t. I don’t care really. You’re going to digest all the same.”
